 Met with Gabby for onboarding follow-up and to learn more about her business and goals. She brought her portfolio and is building a strong foundation for her marketing work. She is very early in her business start-up stage and is currently working to finalize pricing packages. She offers a variety of marketing and digital advertising services and has not yet narrowed into a specific niche or specialty. Gabby works part-time as a preschool teacher Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, so morning and early afternoon events are generally not accessible. We discussed optimizing evening networking opportunities as the best way for her to start getting involved, specifically Business After Hours and Multi-Chamber networking events, and noted that 3:00 PM meetings might occasionally be doable depending on timing. She shared that she is part of WESOS, a networking group designed to support women entrepreneurs. I mentioned the Chamber Women?s Business Council and invited her to the upcoming WBC presentation this week at 3:00 PM. She successfully updated her membership portal profile and I encouraged her to reach out with any questions while exploring the portal. I also shared several upcoming opportunities including the Tri-Chamber Great Winter Mixer on Wednesday, February 18, Business After Hours on Thursday, February 19 , and the Multi-Chamber Fox Valley Rising Professionals networking event on Thursday, February 26. I flagged the week of March 30 as her spring break and will share any relevant events that week, and we will revisit daytime opportunities in more detail once summer break begins.
