Lives in Bartlett and his wife works in St. Charles. Their goal is to become more involved in the St. Charles community. Khush previously worked as a physical therapist and found the work very rewarding, especially helping patients recover and adapt after injuries that changed their life trajectory. He later began helping physical therapists open clinics and discovered a passion for consulting. This led him to transition into small business consulting, where he focuses on helping owners grow and operate more effectively. His primary focus is on the operational side of a business, including strategic growth, improving procedures, and refining sales and marketing processes. He helps clients identify the why behind growth limitations and operational bottlenecks. Ideal Client Profile Service-based businesses only. Retail and manufacturing are outside of his core expertise, and he is selective in these areas. He avoids projects involving legal trouble or legal liability due to lack of experience in that space. His ideal client is a business owner who is committed to the success of their business and willing to recognize the time and effort required for growth strategy. He works best with owners who are open to other perspectives and willing to step back from day-to-day operations to see the bigger picture. Client Engagement Style Khush meets with clients weekly and emphasizes accountability. During the first 4 to 6 weeks, he pushes clients into action, especially those who tend to procrastinate or get stuck in reactive mode. He is flexible and understands that fires happen, but if clients are not willing to put in the time and effort, he is direct about whether the partnership is a fit. He also noted that many business owners benefit from outside perspective, as being too close to a project can hinder momentum. Current Marketing and Referrals Currently receives referrals primarily from accountants, bookkeepers, and other professionals he has proactively built relationships with. He described these as ?back and forth referrals.? He has done some cold calling but is looking to the Chamber to help build brand awareness and establish himself as a trusted resource. Chamber Alignment and Opportunities Khush is interested in presenting and becoming an information hub for small business owners.
