Marklund's mission is to make everyday life possible for individuals with profound disabilities. Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational and therapeutic services to children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs as well as those on the Autism spectrum. With four locations in Geneva, Bloomingdale and Elgin, Marklund has 178 residents, plus more than 250 in the day services and day school programs.
