It also celebrates the dedicated CASA Volunteer Advocates who show up where children are—in their homes\, schools\, and communities—building trust\, offering stability\, and standing beside them every step of the way.\n\nWe are honored to welcome remarks from Chief Judge Robert Villa and Tarra Winters\, Executive Director of Prevent Child Abuse Illinois\, as they share the importance of prevention\, advocacy\, and community partnership in protecting children and strengthening families.\n\nHands Around the Courthouse is a moment to pause and reflect—to recognize the courage of children in foster care\, the life-changing impact of CASA/GAL volunteers\, and the power of a community that chooses to care. Together\, we shine a light forward—offering comfort\, advocacy\, and hope for brighter futures.\n\nThe ceremony will begin at noon in the courthouse rotunda. Light refreshments will be provided
