Workshop Description:  
You’ve heard the term Emotional Intelligence (EQ), but what does it actually mean in day-to-day work? In this session, you’ll get a clear, practical understanding of EQ and how it shows up in your decisions, communication, and reactions under pressure. You’ll reflect on your own patterns and leave with one simple way to respond more intentionally in high-stakes situations.

Learning Objectives

•Describe why EQ is critical for success in life and at work
•Identify the 16 core competencies of emotional intelligence
•Understand the concept of under and over-use of 16 core EQ
 behavioral skills

Presenter: Allison Johnsen, PCC, LCPC, is an executive coach and Emotional Intelligence practitioner who works with high-achieving professionals, and business owners to improve how they lead, communicate, and manage pressure.  Her work is grounded in decades of experience across business, coaching, and psychological practice.  Allison brings a practical, psychologically grounded approach to building self-awareness and behavior change that actually sticks.
